Final workup for Philmont crew. This outing will be up to a 20 mile hike. Trails vary depending on weather conditions and participants skill levels. This is the troops summer camp for 2019.
Camp Makualla is located at Crescent Lake in South-Central Oregon near Crater Lake National Park. Camp is approximately 4,500 feet elevation and beautiful waterfront provides swimming and all lake activities. Available activities include rifle range, shotgun range, archery range, hiking, mountain biking trails and fishing. Drinking water, restrooms and showers are available. We will be leaving the day before camp starts and coming back the day after camp end via Amtrak. Amtrak is an extra fee so please plan accordingly. Bring extra money for food there and back.
